Aquarium : Take Two

The second time around at the aquarium was so much more crazy. It was so busy and hard to see some of the exhibits. However, there were a couple of exhibits that were open this time that we didn't get to see the first time we went. So that was fun. Jade loves looking at the fishes. She especially loved the giant whales and would cry every time we had to pry her away from them. Tyler and I love the penguins. They are so much fun to watch and such cool little creatures.

Pool Party

We celebrated grandpa's 57th birthday at a pool party and had lots of fun! Jade loved swimming with grandpa and playing in the kiddie pool. Happy birthday to Leon!

See ya later, Sister Fred

We said our last goodbyes as Sister Fredrickson entered the MTC on August 13th. We had a nice lunch at Zupas before we headed to the Provo Temple to take pictures, hug, cry, and say goodbye. Then we all piled into the minivan to see her off.  We had such a nice morning with her. Jenn was ready to get in there and get to work.  There is no doubt about it, that girl is going to be an exceptional missionary.

Last Sunday

This was our last family-Sunday dinner before Jenn left on her mission, so naturally we had to snap a picture. It was a nice Sunday evening and family gathering together before she left.

Oh, Baby!

We are so excited to be expecting another baby Fred at the end of January 2015!
& if Jade looks sad in the second picture it's because she wanted to go get in the car and go for a "ride" -not because she is sad to be a sister! I can't wait to see Jade in action as a sister. She LOVES babies and is so sweet and tender. I have no doubt she will be the best little helper- as long as she gets over her severe mama's girl syndrome. ha!

Ogden Temple Open House

We were able to go to the Ogden Temple open house with some of the Freddy clan. It was a beautiful experience. Tyler and I talked after about how we were in awe of it's perfection and beauty-truly a house of the Lord.

"The simple presence of a temple should serve as a reminder of covenants we have made, the need for integrity, and the fact that God is never far away."  - Elder David E. Sorensen

The Dirty Thirty

We celebrated Tyler's 30th birthday this year with a weekend full of fun! On Friday, we celebrated with doughnuts and gifts in the morning and then that afternoon Tyler and I headed up to salt lake to eat, shop and see a movie while Jade had fun at grandma and grandpa's house. On saturday, we headed to midway to go swimming in the crater with some of our favorite friends. We had so much fun at this cool place and couldn't stop laughing the whole time.  The water was so warm, we hope to make it back in the winter time. After, we had a nice lunch and then headed home to our Jade. It was such a fun weekend celebrating our Tyler. We are so glad he was born and so happy he is ours.
