The Trek Home

We arrived to my grandparents house around 1:00AM & my sweet grandma had warm cookies and milk waiting for us! They sure tasted good after 13hours in the car.
The gang at the favorite Jose Pepper's. So yummy!

One of my favorite things about driving across the country is being able to see all the different landscapes of this beautiful America.

The first night we stayed in Wichita at my grandparent's house and then had a nice morning resting and visiting with them.  We had lunch at Jose Peppers and then hit the road again.
The Next night we stayed in Denver and ate at Jim N' Nicks, another favorite of ours. The next day we were back in beautiful Utah! It  is so good to be home even though we both miss the sweet simplicity of our summer life.  It is always a bittersweet experience when the summer comes to an end!

{b}U{m}PDATE: 30- 31 Weeks

At thirty weeks I was feeling really great.
I had just been to the doctor and I was measuring right on time
& every thing looked normal and healthy. I think I had gained a pound.
We traveled back from Louisiana during this week and I did get really swollen in my legs and feet and was feeling numbness from sitting so long. Once we were done it was gone though.
We broke the drive up into three days cause I knew there was no way my body was going to handle it in two days.
Plus, I think it made the adventure more fun! we got to spend time with my grandparents in Wichita.
They loved seeing my belly all big and round. When I saw them earlier this summer it was non existent.
The babies movements slowed down a bit  during the 31st week. I asked my doctor about it and he said it is normal once they get bigger cause there is less space for them to move around, but he had me do a
non-stress test just to be sure. Everything checked out fine and baby is healthy and strong!
We are so excited to meet baby J!

Over the summer Tyler and I were primary teachers for the seven and eight year olds & it was so much fun. We loved every minute of it and always looked forward to seeing these cute kids each Sunday.
We miss being able to teach them so much. It was such a fun calling and my first time ever in primary.
I hope the kids learned as much as I did!

Razz was trying to get in on the action.

This pond at our apartment was always attracting the fishermen.
So we decided to join in on the fun.

Pool Time

We spent many summer mornings/early afternoons at the pool.
It was always a party.
