Hawaii: Boy's Trip

The elite crew took another trip, this time to Hawaii.

Tyler loved it & had so much fun laying on the beach and hiking with the guys.

Tyler said the hike was pretty hard, but I'd say those views from the top are worth it!

Sunshine & Softball

Jen had a softball tournament in St. George so the whole gang [minus Carly & Clark] took a trip down to show their support. Everyone loved soaking up the sun at the games and by the pool. 

Saturday night we had a BBQ at my parents house. It was so fun to have both of our families together again. The last time that happened was at our wedding. Everyone enjoyed catching up, eating, and hanging by the fire pit. 

i'm back.

so, i disappeared for a while. oops.
a lot has been happening lately, so bare with me as i attempt to get caught up.
since this acts as our family scrapbook/journal, i am determined to document what life has been like the last few months. so, prepare yourselves for an overload of events that took place, in some cases, months ago.

Life Lately

I can't believe how fast March has been going by. 

It's been three weeks since I last blogged. ugh. 

That's the longest I've gone without blogging since I started this little thing.

So, here is my attempt to get semi-caught up.

We were out of town for a couple weeks. Feb 29th - March 12th.

We felt like we were gone for a year. 

The day after we got back I got so sick & couldn't stop throwing up for a week. 

I started feeling better this week and now I am trying to play catch up. 

We had such a fun trip in Hawaii and we are already planning our next trip. 

We also had a lot of fun in St. George with friends and family.

The weather has been beautiful down there.   We were outside the whole time.

Before I  headed to Hawaii, my mom and I had a couple days of girly fun. 

We saw the Vow, got our nails done, hung out with Janelle, did a little shopping, and exercising.  

We enjoyed watching Dillan and Brock play in a basketball tournament, too.

St. George is always a treat. We can't wait for our next trip down there in a couple weeks. 

The Beard

The beard is gone & so is the hair.

Tyler decided to go from one extreme to the other.

He was in mourning for a couple days for the beard-not the hair, he loves a buzzed head.

I, however, was in mourning for the hair. I love his longer hair. 

I loved the beard too, but it's nice to see his face again. 

Here is to a nice "clean cut" look!
