We had a good week in St. George with my family before we took off to North Carolina.
We had so much fun relaxing, Swimming, playing pickleball and tennis, hanging with the cousins, watching movies and attending a beautiful wedding. Thank goodness for my angel parents who took such good care of Jade while I attended to my bridesmaid duties. They helped me out so much and I was so relieved to know she was in good hands.
{6 months on May 1st}
Jade has turned into quite the busy body.
She loves her feet.
She is sleeping better.
She is very inquisitive & loves to be apart of the action.
She wants to touch/hold everything and then it goes straight to her mouth.
She is becoming a lot more vocal, but still a pretty quiet baby.
Her giggle melts hearts.
She is obsessed with water bottles.
She likes the color red.
She is in the 5th percentile for weight {13 lbs} and 67th for height {26.25 inches}
She wears 3 month & 3-6 month clothes.
She wears size 2 diapers.
We took a quick and final road trip just before our summer in North Carolina began.
We had so much fun visiting where Leon and Debbie grew up. I had never been to that part of California before and it was beautiful. The whole time I kept asking Tyler if we could move there. He entertained the thought, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen for us. That's okay, as long as we can go back and visit often. The trees were ginormous and gorgeous. They smelled delicious. Somehow, life just seemed less busy and hectic there, more peaceful and serene- truly a paradise.
We loved spending time with Grandma Inez. It was such a treat for me to get to know her better. She is an inspiring lady. Jade sure had fun with her and I think Grandma had fun with Jade too. The trip was so much fun and far too short. We are counting down the days until we can make it back.
